Nick Williams / Denim Branded / 4th Avenue Graphics / Illustration

Nick Williams is a British artist, designer, and founder of 4th Avenue Graphics, working across textile design, apparel graphics, and illustration. His career has been shaped by senior roles at globally recognized brands including Nautica, Levi’s, Puma, Eddie Bauer, and The North Face. With an interest in heritage storytelling and contemporary design, he has built extensive experience within the international fashion industry.

Alongside his commercial work, Nick’s artistic practice focuses on portraiture and bespoke fashion illustration. Working across both digital and hand-rendered processes, he creates character-led imagery for brands, editorial projects, and private commissions. His work draws on streetwear and contemporary fashion, combining cultural references with a refined, narrative-driven approach.

Each piece is developed with a strong sense of identity and storytelling, informed by Nick’s deep understanding of apparel graphics and visual culture. This balance of industry experience and artistic exploration gives his work a distinctive voice—rooted in authenticity while remaining relevant to modern fashion contexts.

Nick is also the author of Denim Branded, a study of denim’s cultural and visual legacy, which continues to inform his creative direction. In addition to his studio practice, he contributes to fashion education as a visiting lecturer at UK universities and has been invited to speak at industry events.

He lives and works in Sussex, where he continues to develop both commissioned projects and personal collections.
