The story of denim branding told by self-confessed denim geek, Nick Williams. He is amongst the worldwide army of denim heads, but his passion for denim (especially for denim branding) stemmed from his tenure as a graphic designer (and then later head of graphics) for Levi’s® Europe. He specialized in recreating artwork from original vintage labels and hardware this involved countless trips to Levi Strauss & Co. archive in San Francisco, enthusiastically studying original pieces and carefully creating new artwork and the reproduction of garments for the LVC ( Levi’s® Vintage Clothing ) collection.
Commissioned by Farah to design the labeling, branding, trims and graphics for their limited edition vintage capsule collection that they created to celebrate their 90 years of iconic design.
1999-2005 Head of Graphics for Levi's Europe, Middle East and Africa. Responsible for managing and designing all apparel prints, branding, paper labeling and trims. Highlight was designing for Levi's Vintage line working closely with archive in San Francisco.
